Deadline: 30 June 2012
This year, we commemorate the 59th anniversary of the end of the Korean War and honor those who fought bravely when the Korean peninsula was swept into an armed conflict from 1950 to 1953 in the turmoil of the Cold War.
The essay contest will provide an unparalleled opportunity and access for contest winners and their companions to enjoy all-expenses-paid VIP trip to Korea with special health appreciation package and KWVA's Revisit Korea program sponsored by Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI).
Open to all US Korean War veterans and their families over the age of 18. Limited to one person per veteran's family (veteran, or a family member.)

Indicate the essay topic in the email subject line. The body of email must contain contestant's name; relationship to the veteran; veteran's name, rank and year of service; home address; email; telephone number; and a recent photo of the contestant.
