Bring your summer writing projects, novels, short fiction, essays, creative nonfiction, screenwriting, poetry and playwrighting, to the GIC on Sunday, June 24th or Wednesday, June 27th (7 pm) to discuss brainstorming techniques, character development, and plot structure and get inspired by other great writing.
There will be a second writing workshop hosted at the GIC on Sunday, July 8th at 4 pm where we'll workshop our pieces and talk about creating interesting dialogue.
The Gwangju Performance Project wants to produce scripts from our own Gwangju community and will be accepting potential scripts August 1st. The second workshop especially will focus on bringing everything together in order to submit your work.
Even if you don't intend to write a play, all authors are invited (no matter your writing experience and background).
All are welcome!
